Toronto, Ontario Canada - (For immediate release) - December 28, 2006 4:01 PM EST

BioMaxx Systems Inc. (Other OTC: BMXSF) is very pleased to announce that the BioMaxx Systems' principal sponsor of the Bioenergy Australia 2006 Conference held December 5-8 in Fremantle Australia was a success. Professor Dr. Naim Kosaric, the BioMaxx Systems' Chief Scientific Advisor presented a paper at the conference outlining the innovative and emerging technologies and product development strategies of BioMaxx Systems Inc.

Dr Stephen Schuck, Manager of Bioenergy Australia, thanked Vernon Smith, CEO of BioMaxx Systems Inc. for the role BioMaxx Systems Inc. played at the Bioenergy Australia 2006 conference in December in Fremantle, Western Australia. Dr. Stephen Schuck made the following comments - "BioMaxx Systems Inc. was a Principal Sponsor of the conference, Australia's premier conference covering biomass for energy and fuels. In addition, Professor Dr. Naim Kosaric of BioMaxx Systems Inc. gave a well received presentation at the conference, entitled Alternative Liquid and Gaseous Fuels from Biotechnology. Professor Dr. Kosaric's presentation provided the context for the development of liquid and gaseous fuels from biomass feedstocks using advanced biotechnology. His presentation covered bioethanol, biodiesel and also considered the pathway to hydrogen production using a range of feedstocks. Pathways using lignocellulosic biomass and Jerusalem artichokes for ethanol, microalgae for biodiesel, and microbial production of hydrogen were presented by Prof. Dr. Kosaric. The impressive potential yields for biodiesel from algae were of considerable interest. Bioenergy Australia looks forward to ongoing interaction with BioMaxx Systems Inc. in developing biofuels and bioenergy in the future."

Vernon Smith, Chief Executive Officer of BioMaxx Systems stated, "The Bioenergy Australia Conference was an informative and progressive venue and presented our company with the opportunity to interact and collaborate with the Australian biofuels and biotechnology community and present our technologies innovations to an educated audience. In addition, BioMaxx Systems had a chance to explore some important business interests in Australia and is confident we will be successfully complete these strategic business transactions in the near future."

At the Conference, Professor Kosaric presented innovative ethanol, biodiesel and hydrogen technologies. Professor Kosaric presented a rapid and high productive ethanol process that utilizing alternative feedstocks such as the Jerusalem Artichokes, which grows much faster and has higher potential yields than the traditional ethanol feedstocks such as corn or wheat. Also discussed was the process of producing biodiesel from microorganisms such as Bacteria, Algae and Yeasts which yield much higher fat contents than traditional biodiesel crops such as Palm Oil. It was formulated that a fatty Algae could yield a 10,000 US gallons per acre as compared with palm oil that yields 650 US gallons per acre. In conclusion, Professor Kosaric presented new technologies on the perfect fuel - hydrogen, which burns to water. The innovations presented involving hydrogen include the production of hydrogen from Microbes that can be modified using metabolic engineering to anaerobically produce hydrogen.
